Cultureground at B-Fest

5/26/2015

Over the last couple of days I have been really lucky and I've been able to find loads out about Brighton Youth Centre and B-Fest which is a Youth Arts Festival they are running all of this week. I was down at B-Fest @ The Level on Saturday and you can read more about that here, but today I went to BYC to take a look at Cultureground - an interactive gallery exhibition by emerging young talent from the local area.

Cultureground is an interactive gallery with exhibitions from some really amazing young people. Some of the pieces are unbelievable and everything in there is unique and strong as a stand alone peice of art as well as a part of the exhibition as a whole.

There are some great textiles pieces from Sew Fabulous Brighton, a lovely compilation of candid polaroid shots from BYC's Scout Stirling, some both honest and interpretive sketches for Draw Your Down There, the most stunning oil paintings from 13 year old Jules Olds which are completely spectacular and lots more to see.

Cultureground is running as part of B-Fest until the 30th May and is open from 5-9pm - if you're around the area or can make it over there, I highly recommend it.

You can find Cultureground at Brighton Youth Centre - 64 Edward Street, BN2 0JR.

Find the events page for Cultureground on Facebook here to see the full list of exhibitors.

Brighton Fringe is almost over, this is your last week to get in there and see as much as you can and I think Cultureground should definitely be on your list of must-sees!
